pic Our Beliefs

Meet the people of the United Methodist Church!

As United Methodists, we understand that our openness to new people, ideas, and ways of reaching out to help others defines much of who we are. Welcoming differences, considering opposing views, and embracing change amount to some of the toughest things we do, and they are also some of the most important.

The United Methodist Church touches the heart and stretches the mind. It accepts people as they are, yet challenges them to be better. We gather together to worship, and then go out to serve in the name of Jesus Christ. As members of the United Methodist Church of Lake Orion, we are a part of a worldwide network of ethnically and culturally diverse churches.
