Children: We believe children are precious treasures from God, that shalom

need to be nurtured in the ways of the Lord. We offer a variety

of programs for the children to compliment the Sunday school

program. Children are invited to participate in Vacation Bible School

and LOGOS along with other fun activities throughout the year.

Also available for children and their parents is Mother's Morning

Out. This is a playtime each Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:00

am to 11:30 am, and is subject to a small fee. Please call the church

Youth: The youth meet each Sunday morning in the Y.E.S.S. house. vbs

Throughout the year, the youth are also involved in other learning

opportunities as well as community outreach projects. Our youth

participate in local projects like S.H.A.L.O.M. to help them connect

to their neighbors by helping with projects around their homes.

The youth also takes part in an annual mission trip outside of

Michigan. more »

 

 

Adults: Although we treasure the children, we recognize that adults

need opportunities to grow in their faith, as well. Therefore we offer a        Top to bottom: Youth Christmas Program, Project

number of adult bible study classes that center around a plethora of          SHALOM Work Day, Vacation Bible School

life's issues. We also have groups for men and women to grow in their

faith and serve the community.                      

 

                                                                                

Music & Arts: Music and the arts enrich our worship life. We invite you and your family to participate in our music and arts groups which are designed for everyone from kindergarten to senior citizens. Most of these activities are active from September through May. more »

Outreach & Caring: The United Methodist Church of Lake Orion continually reaches out to the community to help care for those who need a friend in tough times.
