Select Care Benefits Network (SCBN) is one of America's leading Patient Advocacy Organizations that specialize in Patient Assistance Programs (PAP). SCBN gives prescription drug assistance by helping it's members locate, qualify for and successfully access hundreds of free prescription programs on an ongoing basis for only a fraction of the retail cost. The Forest Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (FPI), Patient Program provides medication for qualifying patients at no charge. If the patient qualifies under FPI guidelines, a three-month supply of the requested drug(s) or device(s) will be shipped to the patient's licensed practitioner for dispensing to the patient. Oakland County Home Buyer Program This program is aimed at helping low- and moderate-income families take ownership of vacant, foreclosed single-family homes and condominiums as their primary residence. Interested buyers with incomes below 120% of the Area Median Income (For example: a family of 4 earning up $83,900) is eligable for this program. Christian Credit Counselors (CCC) CCC's mission is to help individuals and families burdened with financial pressures learn how to become debt free and attain financial freedom in accordance with principles found in the Holy Bible. Michigan Works Offering Employment and training programs, CCC serves employers and workers by providing activities and a forum for information exchange. Love In the Name of Christ of North Oakland County (Love INC) A non-profit cooperative effort that links churches, volunteers, and service agencies and helps them to organize their efforts by reaching out to the poor and disadvantaged. Rochester Neighborhood House A non-profit human service organization founded by communities of faith in 1968, assists people during times of hardship. Some services offered are food pantry, clothes closet, financial support, budgeting help and counseling support.

North Oakland Transportation Authority (NOTA) NOTA will provide free transportation for seniors (60+ years of age) and people of any age with disabilities (with doctors letter). Phone to get an application and be interviewed for approval to use service. Once approved, rides can be arranged with 48 hours notice. Transportation to work, doctor appointments and hospitals, etc. can be arranged. The service is free but donations are accepted. For more information please call 248.628.7900.
