Training. Stephen Ministers train for a total of 50 hrs that usually equates to meeting once a week for 20 weeks. Training starts in the fall and runs through early April. Stephen Ministers offer one on one lay Christian support to people going through a tough time. They train to learn how to become better listeners, understand grief, depression, the importance of boundaries and confidentiality among other things. Training typically starts in the fall. If you or anyone that you know of is interested in training as a Stephen Minister please contact Lisa Goyette for more information.

Peer Supervision– Our Active Stephen Ministers continue to meet on a monthly basis for support and for continuing education opportunities.

In need of a Stephen Minister - If you are struggling with a life issue on your own and could use some support we urge you to reach out to this ministry. Also, as members of this church we have a responsibility to look out for each other. If you know someone going through a tough time let them know that Stephen Ministry is here for them.
