Coat Ministry 2025
Our coat ministry has been sustained over the years by your generosity and the many folks who have organized delivery to the local Lake Orion Schools. This fall we have already shared over 130 coats with four of our local elementary schools!
Many of you have asked about assisting with supplying these winter items again this year. As we have continued to purchase coats, snow pants, gloves and hats this, of course, is an expense. We would love to extend an invitation to all to make a financial contribution for more cold weather wear!
Our coat closet is still in need of various pieces to pull together: 1 coat, 1 pair of snow pants, 1 hat and 1 set of gloves for each child (necessary for Michigan outdoor play).
We have found that on average, the cost of these items total under $90. If you wish to contribute (any amount is helpful), drop payment in an envelope or turn it into the office - identify the contribution clearly as “Coat Ministry”.
