Blessings in a Brown Bag Provides Blessings for Volunteers!


Almost one in four school-aged children in Lake Orion are food insecure. Lake Orion United Methodist Church strives to assist in the cost, preparation and delivery of nutritious lunches to these children during the summer months when the free school lunch program is closed. Our volunteers report back that our mission has allowed them to feel their time is well spent and helping the vulnerable children in our own community. The instructions for volunteers are detailed in the document below. Since meals are delivered to children, background checks are required for drivers and that form is also included below.
