LOUMC Still Has Talent!! Share your talents with your church family!!! Sunday October 27 at 4:00 PM with a dress rehearsal on Saturday, October 26 (time to be announced). Talent show to take place in the LOUMC sanctuary and followed by:
Chili Supper - in Fellowship Hall. Free Will Offering for Community Assistance and LOUMC General Funds.
*Sign up during coffee hour in Fellowship Hall after service or in the church office. Registration forms available at the sanctuary exits or from the church office. Deadline for registration is Sunday October 13. Please return completed Registration Forms to Janice Hammond (mailbox in church office).

Christmas Music and Drama (MADE) Season 2 This November this fun opportunity to come together and rehearse in preparation for a song and drama presentation on December 15 during worship. Please contact Reverend Linda to confirm that meeting right after church service to rehearse for 45 minutes is convenient for your family.

World Communion Sunday
October 6 All children are encouraged to participate in worship that day! There will be Sunday School as well! Please see Pastor Linda and sign-up on Sunday after worship. We like to ask the children to bring the bread into worship and also to carry the bread out and into Fellowship Hall for our Bread/Jam and Soup event! See below!

*Volunteers needed to set up table stations and hand out candy (almost as much fun as the children)
*Drop off boxes for candy and prizes located at Slater Street and Anderson Street doors and in Blue Room #203

Red Cross Blood Drive Blood is the most precious gift we can give to another person…it is the gift of life!
The next LOUMC-sponsored Red Cross blood drive will be Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in our Fellowship Hall. Pill bottles have been collected and there are work dates for removing labels and cleaning the bottles for use in third-world countries. The dates are as follows:
-Wednesday, October 23rd from 9:30 to 12:00 PM
-Thursday, October 24th from 9:30 to 12:00 PM
